JOB TITLE: Machine Operator / HC Truck Driver

JOB TYPE: Full time, following initial three (3) month probationary period

LOCATION: 11 Matchett Drive, Strathdale 3550 and various external locations

SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Senior Environmental Consultant – Luke Collins

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and carry out on site works programs as directed
• Coordinate and carry out construction works as directed
• Operate heavy machinery as required, within the company’s workplace health & safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Undertake training and job competency assessments when required
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
• Other tasks as directed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications:

• Driver’s licence
• First aid certificate Level 1 & 2, or willingness to obtain
• Construction white card or willingness to obtain
• Heavy machinery licences (including excavator, skid steer, heavy rigid or heavy combination, loader, forklift), or willingness to obtain

Skills:

• Physical ability to meet job demands
• Appropriate current vehicle licenses, or willingness to obtain
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Capacity to provide and follow direction
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

• Complete works programs and construction works on time and safely
• Ability to deal with clients, suppliers and employees professionally at all times
• Ensure worksite is clean, safe and presentable at all times
