Rehabilitation of Legacy Mine Sites

Edwards Environmental has worked in conjunction with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) on several large-scale environmental assessment projects in the Bendigo region for legacy mine sites and former metallurgical processing sites containing extensive areas of contaminated mining wastes (calcine and grey sands). Edwards Environmental undertakes and coordinates bulk earthworks across the region and can direct large volumes of soils into these remediation projects. This provides multiple benefits for clients, including logistical ease and lower costs.
