Removal of Solid Inert Waste

A planned residential sub-division required the assessment of soils and other materials within a decommissioned dam on the site prior to development. The dam was found to contain a large amount of variably sized solid inert waste originating from the demolition of local buildings amongst otherwise clean soils. A triple deck mobile screen was utilised to separate soil from waste materials. These soils were subsequently characterised for any contaminants and, where possible, used for site remediation. The deficit in soil volume was subsequently transported to the site by Edwards Environmental from nearby validated clean fill sources.
