Environmental Oil Spill Clean-Up

Remediation works were required following illegal dumping of approximately 1000L of waste motor oil into a narrow ephemeral channel within ecologically sensitive Box Ironbark Forest. Urgent containment was required to prevent seepage into plant root systems, and removal prior to rainfall. On request of Parks Victoria, Edwards Environmental removed all surface oil and contaminated soils while minimising disturbance of landforms, natural soils, and native vegetation.
